Al Ain Football Club has announced the participation of its Under-19 team in the eighth edition of the International Tournament, hosted by the Mohammed VI Football Academy in Morocco from April 22 to 26. The tournament will feature 16 teams representing 13 countries from four continents. According to a club statement, the Under-19 team will represent Asia alongside Aspire Academy from Qatar. The tournament will see the presence of elite clubs and academies from around the world, including Villarreal (Spain), AZ Alkmaar (Netherlands), Leeds United, and Nottingham Forest (England), Palmeiras (Brazil), Boca Juniors (Argentina), Monaco (France), Hajduk Split (Croatia), and Vitória Guimarães (Portugal), in addition to Morocco's Mohammed VI Academy, Fath, and Nahd Berkane, Como (Italy), and Stade Rennes (France). "The Leader" will compete in Group C, which also includes Boca Juniors (Argentina), AZ Alkmaar (Netherlands), and Nottingham Forest (England). This group is considered one of the strongest due to the diversity and history of the football schools it represents in talent development. Al Ain's participation is part of the club's strategy to develop young talents by providing them with opportunities to compete against various football schools at a high level, which enhances the technical and mental readiness of the players. The current edition of the tournament has seen an increase in participating teams from 12 to 16, reflecting its expanding international scope and reinforcing its status as one of the premier tournaments for youth teams worldwide.
